What I loved about this resource is that I was able to use it in so many ways! To start, I watched the free youtube video that went with the product (how to write a paragraph). Then I had my students pick what holiday they would like to learn about. We reviewed vocabulary words they would find in the paragraph, then read the paragraph and answer comprehension questions (I created the questions- basic wh ?). Finally I had them actually completing the packet. I made sure to rewatch the youtube video before each session to remind my students what we are working on. This resource will get me through about 16 sessions! Best part is that the students LOVE learning about some of the different holidays that are celebrated during this time of year. Highly recommend if you’re aiming to make an inclusive environment for your students to learn in 🙂
